About Jenet Levy
Born and raised in New York, Jenet Levy knows every nook and cranny of this city. She has observed with great interest as neighborhoods, their boundaries and the trends of our real estate market have evolved and changed over time. Having been a co-op owner/board member and current townhouse owner, Jenet has experienced first-hand the experiences that buyers and sellers encounter. She is a prolific agent, having won several company awards and has been quoted in the press numerous times.
With an MSW from Columbia University and successful prior careers in social work and human resources, Jenet recognizes the inherent stress that can be involved in a transaction as significant as the buying or selling of a home, and dissipates it with her ability to take each client through each step with patience and understanding. Jenet is a skilled negotiator and a creative problem-solver. She navigates through any roadblocks that come up, and sees each buyer or seller through to the closing table and often beyond.
Being a native New Yorker adds great value to the service Jenet provides. Sellers who want to trade up or downsize, or buyers unsure of their ideal location, can benefit from guidance regarding the neighborhoods that best suit their particular needs and wants.
Tenacity is present in every aspect of Jenet’s life. She is a distance runner who has completed 7 marathons (6 NYC and one Philly) and has cycled through Spain, Belgium, Holland and Costa Rica. She is a gourmet cook and baker, a patchwork quilt artist, and has a passion for architecture and design.
