Mesa is a wonderful city that offers a wide variety of entertainment and family fun. On any given day you can find something to do. From the free splash pads in one of many local parks to a day of music and arts in downtown. The only limiting thing tends to be our willingness to get out and find it. I am as guilty as the next, it’s too far, it’s too hot, etc., etc. But once my spouse convinces me to get out, I always seem to have the fun she promised. If a little lazy fishing is your idea of fun, Mesa has that as well, there are many local lakes stocked with fish just waiting for your baited hook. Mesa is also home to Cactus Leagues spring training for the Chicago Cubs and the Oakland A’s.
One of the most attractive (to me) things about Mesa is its central location, we are 20 minutes from both Sky Harbor and Mesa Gateway airports. There is direct light rail access into and around Phoenix with more expansion underway. You can access the Superstition Springs mountain range and surrounding lakes in as little as 30 minutes. And if you need to get on the freeway, Mesa is within minutes of the 60, 202, 10 and 101 just to name a few.
So, if you are looking for a home in the Phoenix Valley, I would suggest you take a look at Mesa, you just might find a little gold nugget hidden in the East Valley
