"Gone With the Wind" comes to mind when you see a full sized trampoline get blown out of a yard by high winds and inverted. This was the scene on October 14, 2017 west of the intersection of Monterey Way on Bob Billings Parkway in Lawrence Kansas.
Early reports are of trees and branches down, areas without electricity, and a tree down on a Lexus (ouch)! With several lightning strikes, it is uncertain whether the house fire at the corner of Wagon Wheel Road and Riverview Rd was weather related at the time of the writing of this blog. Hopefully no one was hurt from the winds and fire.

10-15-17 Updates: Two trees down on one single house. This was not a microburst but sustained 55 mile per hour winds. Area hardest hit was North Lawrence. Some minor flooding occurred.
