The city also boasts a number of Hotels to support it's growing business ventures.  Likewise, Carson hosts a number of small businesses in addition to industrial and commercial businesses.  Carson is the home to California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) which was founded in 1960.  CSUDH sits on land once owned by  Juan José Dominguez, his descendants still own much of the land today.  Fun Fact: Did you know the Velodrome was built on the campus of CSUDH to support the 1984 Olympics?  Carson is also home to the Dignity Health Sports Park, (formerly named StubHub Center) where you can watch the Chargers play their home games before they move to Inglewood in 2020.
